Okay but can everyone please read the Paradox series by Rachel Bach? It’s a super fun scifi/future fantasy led by an ambitious gun-happy merc (pictured above) named Devi. There is a heart-wrenching romance and tons of action and it’s like Mass Effect meets Firefly. Also did I mention Devi is a fucking badass? But the kind of badass who’s fully realized and complex and relatable? Yeah READ THESE BOOKS.
