Thank you guys, for being worried about our little dragon fly drone! As you can see it was recovered safely. A little repair work and it’ll be fine.

This was a particularly cool piece of laser cut scrap that had some stuff etched into it. I chose to leave it instead of sand it out.

Things I learned from my first artists alley appearance.

7. Remember your business cards. Because if you write down the wrong tumblr blog name you risk your potential followers finding a porn blog instead.

2. Clean out the cooler every night. That thing can get stiiiinky.

3. Booth height.

4. Pricing.

5. Smiling at all the people is easier than you think.

6. Don’t take things personally. The one woman berating her (adorable) five year old daughter for looking at things she “didn’t want to look at!” (my art) and then making putting her on the spot about why she was looking at it and what she could possibly like about it… Really didn’t have any idea how offensive that was.

1. Fans are THE ABSOLUTE BEST and you were adorable and I love you. This is #1 really and I’m changing it.

Thank you guys for making our first con appearance magical. I had a blast.
