A little something I’ve always wanted to do- Special effects from the 1920’s to the 1940’s.

For the sake of sanity, I left off some details of the traveling matte processes…. them’s pretty complicated things!

Song of the Sea

I got to see this at work today. It’s a beautiful film by the same director and animators that did The Secret of Kells. If you love animation, beautiful things, and wonderful writing, you owe it to yourself to seek out and watch this lovely film.

I'll sleep when I'm dead.

So the red panda project is on hold for November since I have to do a short animation, make an animatic for my short film, write the better part of a novel, do a chunk of freelance work, and still work on Laika’s Film 4. So just a little busy.

Hope y’all are well. More soon!
