I bought a poem about milkweed from a woman selling poems at the farmer’s market today.

That’s almost a poem in itself, or maybe I’ve wandered into a Carl Sandburg story, something out of Rootabaga Stories.

She gave me permission to post a photo, and I have the poem, about black and orange kings and queens, tacked to the wall of my studio.

The world is very wonderful sometimes.
